Driver Leaves Scene After Head-On Collision
According to Harris County Sheriff's deputies, a driver fled the scene of an accident in northwest Houston Thursday night around 11 p.m. after causing a head-on collision. The driver of a Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Highway 6 attempting to make a left turn on Groschke when the vehicle slammed head-on into an oncoming Nissan Altima. Following the collision, the driver of the Camry immediately fled the scene on foot. The driver of the Altima was eventually pulled from the vehicle by emergency personnel and airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious condition.
