Drunk Driver Kills 2 Pedestrians, Attempts to Flee

According to the Houston Police Department, a recently engaged couple were attempting to cross the street on the evening of September 21st when they were mowed down by an intoxicated driver. The hit-and-run car accident occurred at White Heather and West Fuqua around 9:30 p.m as the driver ran a red light. The victims, a 23-year old man and his 22-year old fiance, were pronounced dead at the scene.
