Single-Car Accident Claims Lives of 3 New Caney Students
According to local officials, five Porter High School students were traveling down a narrow, two-lane road with no shoulder when the driver lost control of the vehicle. After overcorrecting in an unsuccessful attempt to regain control, the car struck a tree and flipped.
Three of the students, including the driver, were killed. The other two passengers were treated at a local hospital and then released.
