Single-Car Accident Kills One, Injures Driver
One man was injured and his passenger killed early this morning when their car crashed into a ditch on Battlebell Road near Steele in east Harris County. The driver of the 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio was taken by LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment. The passenger died at the scene. Harris County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the cause of the accident.
