Tragic Rollover Wreck Kills One Houston Man and Injures Four Others
According to the Houston Police Department, on Monday March 15, 2010, a single-vehicle rollover accident took the life of one man and injured four other individuals, including a toddler. The accident occurred around 3:00 pm on Holmes Road near the 1600 Block. According to HPD, the driver of the vehicle was attempting to pass a slower-moving car on the left. While attempting the maneuver, the driver noticed an oncoming car and steered hard to the right, causing the car to flip over and come to rest on its roof.
This is yet another example of a driver taking dangerous and unnecessary risks to save time. Unfortunately, his passenger was the one who suffered the consequences.
